Decoder

Gautham Garg, aka Decoder, is a Dallas-based producer/DJ working in sci-fi and deep techno. His sound merges retrofuturistic ideas with experimental electronic textures. Since his 2021 debut The Futurist, he has released on labels including Subsist, Axis, Float Records, and his own Codec Recordings, followed by multiple albums such as Monolithic Activity Spectrum, Dark Shape, and Plurality Module. He has received support from Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, and Ben Sims, and performed at clubs including Berghain, De School, and Waking Life.
